Patient Advisory Committee (PAC) Page

The Heartland Kidney Network's Patient Advisory Committee (PAC) was established in 2007. The PAC is comprised of End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients that represent the ethnic diversity, geographic distribution and treatment modalities of the ESRD population of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa. The Network encourages patients to become more involved in their care and treatment options. Any patient interested in learning more about their treatment options should first discuss with their nephrologists or treatment team at the dialysis facility.

Mission Statement:

To educate and provide patients with perspective for dialysis and transplant.

Our Vision:

To improve the quality of life for those living with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD)

Our Goals:

  1. Create a DVD
  2. Establish a mentor program
  3. Design new patient packets
