Today was a tough day at the Dialysis Center...

Before turning in notice of resignation to your supervisor, consider these things:

Gain Perspective

• You have worked very hard to get where you are today just to quit now!
• Virtually all situations can be resolved.
• There are dialysis patients and staff members that are counting on you to be at the facility tomorrow.

Get a Grip

• Don’t let the stress overwhelm you. Talk to a trusted friend, seek counseling if necessary, exercise, and learn to relax!
• Never act in haste! Allow time to think about the situation.
• You have the choice as to how you react to the situation. You are in control of your reactions and you are also responsible for your reactions.

Make a Plan

• Remove the emotions from the situation. Step back from the problem and try to find fair and workable solutions.
• Try to view the problem from another persons’ perspective.
• Think creatively! The answer(s) may surprise you!
